Everything God said was printed in red
This is a snippet or typographic responses to a book called Just My Type by Simon Garfield. He was talking how the bible was designed. He had mention that you knew when God spoken because everything was printed in red. I enjoyed making this snippet because I am religious person, and I understood where the writer was coming from.
This snippet was made in adobe Illustrator. I use the the type tool, the opacity tool and the place tool, I wanted it to be known what I was trying to convey. I put the background red and an image of God in the background. I used the opacity tool so that you will be able to both the red and the image.
Ok you guys I know what kind of business its going to be, DRUUMMMM ROLLLL PLEEEEAASSE! Its gonna be a gym, thats right your can for work out on at Rodimus gym. Doesn’t that sound cool?
Now I had to design a business card front and bad, a favi card, which is a smaller version of a business card, a letterhead and a envelope. These things will help me get business running, and let people know what my business is about. I ENJOYED making these thing. I hope you like them also. This was the third part to the first project.
I will like to thank my teacher Ms. K for giving me this project, because there are a lot of things you will have to learn about yourself and your clients.
As you can see i had the name rodimus so I had to find a way to incorporate my typeface and figure out what kind business it would be, I haven’t really chosen what kind of business its going to be yet. I was hoping you helped me out with that. So comment down be low and tell me what kind of business it should. Think of the color, the hard and sharp edges, and how thick the letters are.
I chose these colors to make it stand out, and I wanted to try something new, so I did grey and orange, I didn’t think it was work, But I like it.
These are alphabet I created using squares. It was one of the first projects I had to do for my Typography 2 class this year. The objectives were to create a typeface prototype, develop 26 letterforms. Re-consider the anatomy of typefaces through their feeling: rough, smooth, sharp, bitmapped, etc. Reinforce understanding of typographic anatomy. Think within a system of elements. The assignment was to create a prototype for a bitmap typeface in Adobe Illustrator by designing 26 letterform on a grid of squares or a grid of dots. The must be uniform for each letterform. The squares or dots be uniform (all the same size) throughout the typeface.
As you can see my typeface is masculine, so in the next project I had to see what kind of business to create using the typeface for a logo. Stay tuned to see what I chose.
Why I made this blog
Everything I post leads to art. As you can the images on my wall, is either graphic design, typography, fashion, or just plain art. I am hoping that one day someone discovers my blog and see how gifted I am.
As a child I always leaned toward the artistic things like drawing, singing, dancing, etc. While I was grade school, I always turned out to be one of the best in my art and music classes. One day my teacher ask was I gonna major in art I didn’t know back then because I was youngster. As of now art is my major with a concentration in studio, it was graphic design but I switched over to studio, because I am a more hands on person. I am enjoying myself in this major thus far, its a lot if work, but it will pay off in the long run.
Another reason why is because it was assignment for my Computers for Artist class. I am thankful she came up with this assignment, because that I will have a lot of networking. This is letting my images see the world, and hoping people like its.
Update on the Songbird
Today I’m going to talk about, the image I posted not to long ago called the songbird. This image was inspired by my talent of singing, I love to sing and and do art aswell. This image didnt really take that long to do. It was just something I thought of when I was giving an assignment, to create something using the pen tool in adobe illustrator. But since I already knew how to use the pen tool, I went ahead and created other things around.
As you already know this image was created in adobe illustrator. I used the pen tool on the black silhouette, and I just the use the text tool and shape tool, to create the words, and put the color for the background of the image. I extured the image to give it a ventage look. The colors I used were lime green for the background, and red for the text. This design was simple but has alot to it. I enjoyed doing this designed I hope u enjoyed it as wel. Thanks for tuning in :-)
yup
